Team devotion

I woke up at 6:30am when my alarm went off. I set it up again at 7am and went back to sleep. The alarm went off and I had to wake up even though I was still very sleepy. I need to do something and I need to attend our team devotion. I took all my dry laundry out and folded them. Then prepared my breakfast and took a bath. Then I was reading my devotional while eating.

At 8:30 am, we started our team devotion. We talked about how God blesses His people when they only depend on Him. God wants us to totally depend on Him. He did not say that we should only depend on Him great for things but even the tiniest concerns in our lives. We should acknowledge that apart from him we cant do anything.

JS prom

JS Prom is one of the most exciting occasions in High School. One of the things that women worry about what prom dresses to wear. It is also a little sad though because it is like a farewell party for seniors. It is among the last times that they can bond their friends and peers before they join the work force or separate from each other to study in different distant colleges.

I was glad chat I got to chat my sis in Philippines and sis in US. we chatted for awhile. It was so great. It is very seldom that we are online at the same time since we have no internet connection at home.
I had to exit though because I need to take medicine for my up coming dysmenorrhea. =)

We had hawiian pizza for lunch. We were so hungry by the time order arrived. It arrived very late like already 1:15 pm. We were starving but thanks God it came. After lunch, back to office again and wait for our class at 2:30pm.

Our class went well although it became more complicated. We had our homework checked. I was glad my sentences were correct except one. The teacher had us recite counting 1-20 in arabic. Three of us did great with it. I really hope I will learn this language well.

Our class today

After the meeting, I went to my room and took a bath and then eat breakfast. After awhile, I went to the office to study arabic. Then at about 11:30am we ordered lunch. I ordered maduri rice with meat. It was very delicious. After lunch break, we went to the office again and continue our study and when we got bored we check emails or something. We were waiting for our language class at 2:30pm.

Our lesson became more intense in terms of vocabulary and grammar. Our teacher always asked us as for our drill and of course I got all the hard ones. poor me… hehehe. Some questions I answered with corrections and some needs reconstruction of sentences. It really needed concentration but I think I am not good with that. It gave me headache. It was good though.

Right after the class, I received a phone call from the my dearest mother. What a joy to hear her voice. She really made my day. Thanks God for my wonderful mother. It was very timely and I miss her so much.

Then I went upstairs and rest for awhile and chatted with my sister. It always made me happy when I got to chat with my sisters. It is fun to be connected even when we are so far away for each other.

Different views on sexy

One of the things I know about a certain country I am in now is that they consider fat people as sexy and attractive. I cannot comprehend why these people think about it. I guess they have their own style and sizes of sexy costumes. It is funny to compare about the difference of each people’s view about life.

We spend our lives on the run: we get up by the clock, eat and sleep by the clock, get up again, and then suddenly when we look at our face in the mirror wrinkles appear. Getting older is a tough one to bear. As you get older, you may be more vulnerable to some health issues and wrinkles. Of course for women they use best wrinkle cream to get rid of it. There is no escaping to old age

My day

I started my day with my devotional. Galatians 6:2 ” Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” When God places people in our lives who are in need, He is aware of what they lack, and He knows He has given us the resources to meet those needs. God does nothing by accident. Recognizing a need in someone’s life can be one of the greatest invitations from God we will ever experience. It’s so easy to become frustrated by the problems of others. They can overwhelm us as we become aware of need after need. If God is blessing us materially or strong healthy family and other aspects of life. It may be that He has been purposely building things in our lives so that we can now be the kind of person who will carry the burdens of others. By doing so we will fulfill the law of Christ. i am blessed that I found people that invest their effort to make me feel at home here. I really thank God for them.

After reading the bible and my devotional book, I was able to chat with my sister and friends in facebook. In the middle of our chatting, J got me because we had an emergency staff meeting. It was a very short notice so I hurriedly prepared and went out. We were all in the living room table. There were just some important things needed to be discussed. It was just a short meeting.
