Cellar Incest Case Shocks Austria in the headline today and so everyone else. It is unimaginable, beyond the grasp of a normal mind how could a father in Josef Fritzl had had held his daughter captive in a windowless basement for 24 years, and much worse, father their seven children? Such incest! How could they have remained secret for a quarter of a century? Now there are two of this case being found out in Austria. We can’t help to ask, how many are still there hidden for so many years inside the cellars and basements of unsuspecting houses? Not just there but everywhere else. What happened to that period of time? What drives a man to do such act? There are so many questions that can only be answered by knowing what has gone so wrong in a society to drive such deed.
