Live Safe with Defensil Isopropyl Alcohol

Defensil Isopropyl Alcohol encourages Filipinos to live safe with many establishments slowly re-opening and allowing people to resume their pre-pandemic lifestyles.

With the nationwide vaccination program in full force, Filipinos can slowly enjoy various activities such as more dining options as well as doing physical activities by going to the gym. However, health experts continue to remind everyone to not let their guards down even as we gradually go back to normal.

As there are reports of new and potentially more contagious variants, everyone must remain vigilant through following established health protocols and getting vaccinated so we can all continue to live safe and prevent the cases from surging again.

That’s why when we do essential errands such as buying groceries, exercising outdoors, or simply going outside, disinfecting your hands and any surface you interact with goes a long way to ensure living safely for you and your family.

One way to prevent the spread of the virus is by always carrying a trusted rubbing alcohol brand that contains at least 70& alcohol solution whenever you go outdoors.

Defensil 70% Solution Isopropyl Alcohol, the alcohol recommended by the Philippine Society for Microbiology (PSM), can kill 99.9% of common germs and bacteria starts to kill them on contact so that you can safely do the activities you love wherever you are. Defensil also provides up to 12 hours of protection upon constant use so that you are protected and do activities with ease.

Skin dryness from too frequent sanitizing will also not be a worry as Defensil has moisturizing properties and is hypoallergenic, giving you one less thing to worry about when going indoors.

“We are 100% behind the government in their efforts to prevent further spread of the virus. Defensil encourages everyone to remain vigilant now more than ever and do our part in this fight towards eventually resuming our normal way of life by adhering to social Distancing and sanitation protocols, especially when doing essential errands outdoors,” shared Nikko Cruz, Brand Manager of Defensil Isopropyl Alcohol.

Teeth is the first thing people can notice us when we are talking. It’s one of our body parts that gives a great factor on how we look. It also plays a very important rule in human’s nutrient. Without a teeth, chewing food won’t be possible haha! I rerealized it all after the doctor pulled my molar teeth out after it started to get decay. Last week I decided to see a dentist after I had regular toothache. Actually it started to have pain when I was 1 month pregnant with my third baby. The pain is excruciating but I bear it until my third months postpartum when its OK to extract it. Last week, I lost one of my grinding tooth and I really regret why I never cared my teeth when there were still other options than to extract it. I only visit my dentist once in two years. It’s already late because my tooth started to decay and painful specially if I accidentally grind it with solid foods. Therefore I conclude we must take much attention with our teeth because it really affects how we eat and how we look. Regular visit to dentist and regular brushing is the key to have a whiter healthier teeth. How about you guys what are your tips to keep your teeth healthy and intact?

A simple act of kindness

I was about to go home after my 8hours duty, I had an extraordinary experience that really made me happy and I really did not expect it to happen especially these days or generation! One thing I love being pregnant is the special treatment people are giving me or I love the goverment for giving priority lane in any government or private offices, institutions or establishments! No need to queu and wait for a longer time because there are always lane for special cases like pregnant, elderly and people with disability. Well, so much for these. It happened when I was waiting for a tricycle to bring me home after a very tiring but fruitful work in the office. I am just one of the many commuters at work! Some are having their personal car already. I hope I will have one too:) one tricycle stopped with passengers who were about mid forty’s. The driver agreed to bring me to my destination so I sat at the back seat because the 2 passengers were in front but surprisingly, the two women offered me the front seat because I am pregnant! It seems they knew I really love to be in front because I can sit comfortably compare to the back. So they transferred at the back. I really feel so special! I just cant believe they did it. I never experience it yet in my entire pregnancy. God bless their hearts for being so kind and thoughtful to a pregnant like me. I thank them many times for such a kind act even the fact that they are older than me. A very simple yet it touches me and I cannot forget it all my life! Kudos to those 2 mid 40’s women, I just don’t know their names!

Vitamin D and the skin

When we were kids our parents used to tell us to go out early in the morning to get vitamins from the sunlight and have healthier skin. Now, a vitamin made when sunlight hits the skin, Vitamin D, could help slow down the ageing of cells and tissues, say researchers. It’s possible that the same sunshine which may increase our risk of skin cancer may also have a healthy effect on the ageing process in general.

Health benifits of soy sauce

I always use soy sauce when I cook stir fries and other menus for it really gives a different good taste to the food. Soy sauce comes from soybeans. Soybeans are members of the pea (legume) family of vegetables. Eating soybean-based food may reduce the risk of a range of health problems, including coronary heart disease. More research is needed, but the evidence so far suggests that it could be wise to include soy foods in the daily diet. Soybeans also contain hormone-like substances called phytoestrogens that mimic the action of hormone oestrogen. The health benefits of soy for menopausal women could include fewer hot flushes, protection from coronary heart disease and lowered risk of osteoporosis. Soy is a high quality protein. It is one of the only two known plant foods to contain all the essential amino acids, similar to those found in meat (the other plant food is amaranth seed, a wild green). Some soy products can be a source of calcium and iron. The soybean is: High in fibre, High in protein, Low in saturated fat Cholesterol-free, Lactose-free a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, High in phytoestrogens.

The one that we call on

My brother who is now working is seldomely comes home due to his work schedule. Thanks God he came home tonight because we will be having a beach party tomorrow for our parents despedida or goodbye party before they will be leaving for US. When we are young we used to see each other everyday at home but now that we are grown up already and having our own work, we only see each other maybe once a month or 2. A realization that spending quality time to our loveones is very important while we still have the chance. I thing I like when our brother is at home is that he can help us with our gadget or music related problem like fixing a wire, installing music software at musiciansfriend.com and the likes. He is gifted with these areas and the one that we call on if we have computer/gadgets or wiring problems at home.

Understanding Influenza

In this season many got infected influenza. Just like my 10months old baby who were discharged from the hospital yesterday after being  attacked with this so called Influenza virus. It is better to understand what really influenza is. Influenza is a viral infection that affects the nose, throat, bronchi and occasionally, lungs. The infections last for about a week. Symptoms include high fever, aching muscles, headache, cough, runny nose, and sore throat. Children below 5 years and the elderly (above 65 years) are at a greater risk. People with chronic lung or heart disease, diabetes and pregnant women in their third trimester are also potential victims of flu-related complications. Influenza leads to broncho-constriction, increase in asthma and prolonged decline in lung functions in asthmatic children. It’s also a common cause of hospitalization for such children. Global studies show that if those at high risk are vaccinated against flue before the flu season (October-March) begins, the infection is less likely to be fatal. Vaccines are the most effective medical intervention against flu.?
